Removing the Fear Barrier Led to 316 Salvations
For Dr. Barnabas Mtokambali and the leadership at Bethel Revival Temple in Morogoro, Tanzania, the desire to reach their community was always there—but for many in the pews, the "how" felt out of reach. Even in a vibrant congregation, a common, silent barrier existed: the fear of saying the wrong thing. Members like Suzan Ernest loved Christ deeply but felt paralyzed by shyness, unable to find the courage to share their faith with neighbors. The church needed more than just a mandate to evangelize; they needed a practical bridge that could turn a member’s quiet conviction into a bold, clear witness.
That bridge arrived in December 2024 through the LiFe Toolbox training. When the teaching began, the atmosphere at Bethel Revival Temple shifted from theory to immediate, local action. The church recognized that their culture thrived on tangible resources, and the arrival of printed materials provided the specific "road map" their leaders had been missing. These tools allowed pastors and home group leaders to navigate the Gospel conversation with confidence, moving away from the pressure of "perfected" speeches and toward the simple power of the five LiFe topics.
The impact of this equipping was both immediate and staggering. Suzan, once too timid to speak, found her voice through the training; she shared the Gospel with seven people, and in a beautiful display of the Holy Spirit’s power, six of them gave their lives to Christ and were baptized. Her story was a microcosm of a much larger movement. In just a few months, the church witnessed 316 people accept Jesus as Savior, with 100 of them receiving water baptism. What began as a training seminar had ignited a congregational fire that was bringing families and neighbors into the church.
Today, the vision in Morogoro has expanded far beyond the walls of Bethel Revival Temple. With 92 regions across Tanzania to reach, Dr. Barnabas and his team are now focused on a national scale, committed to training every pastor in their network to use these same tools. They have seen firsthand that when you remove the barrier of fear and replace it with a clear, biblical framework, the harvest is ready and waiting. For Bethel Revival, the LiFe Toolbox wasn't just a curriculum—it was the catalyst that turned a shy congregation into a courageous movement of soul-winners.
